This collection may not have sounded like it fit on a stand alone collection but the mix of sad piano and positive funeral doom was the perfect soundtrack to a 90 minute car trip on a cold, cloudy autumn day ! Déhà really is the master wizzard of this genre .... or of all the genre's he dabbles in !

What an amazing album- songs so long that you can just get lost in and forget your existence. Definitely a new favorite album.

Averses était un "Prélude à la Drache", un "vestige" selon les mots de Déhà. Mais cet album offrait tellement en terme de black metal atmosphérique, il était si chargé en émotions que Déhà a pu en faire une saga à part entière et lui offrir une seconde partir avec Averses II. Le style est le même mais la nostalgie d'autrefois qui est poursuivie dans "Estivale" et "Regrets d'inconnu" se transforme en typhon de rage. Et alors qu'on croit avoir essuyé la pire tempête, l'averse débute à peine...
